Easy Company Chicken

12 pieces chicken
garlic powder
salt
1 bottle Russian salad dressing
1 package Lipton onion soup mix
1/2 cup water
1 bottle apricot jam -- (optional)

Mix ingredients together. Spread sauce over chicken in a baking dish.

Bake for 1 1/2 Hrs. at 375F.
