Easy Tomato Pork Chops

3 pounds pork loin chops -- (bone in)
3 cups tomato-based pasta sauce
19 ounces stewed tomatoes -- (1 can)
1 medium onion -- chopped
2 cloves garlic -- minced
1/2 medium sweet green pepper -- chopped
1/2 medium sweet red pepper -- chopped

Trim fat from chops; place in large roasting pan.

In saucepan, bring pasta sauce, tomatoes, onion and garlic to boil; pour over chops. Cover and bake in 375°F oven for 1 1/2 hours.

Add chopped green and red peppers; bake, covered, for about 30 minutes or until pork is tender enough to fall off the bone. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
